Thank God for football...

During this extra sensitive political season, I thought I'd deviate a bit and talk about another passion of mine: football.
Thankfully the greatest sport on the planet has come back to lift us out of this heavy fog that seems to have settled on the nation. Presidential campaigns tend to do that...
So, as I look forward to the upcoming season, I thought I'd share my predictions for each team and what's gonna happen in the playoffs. ![]()

Here's how the playoffs are going to stack up:
In the NFC, Dallas; Minnesota; New York; Seattle; Green Bay; and New Orleans will make the cut. In the NFC championship game we're going to see Dallas vs. Minnesota...and in a shocker, Minnesota will pull off the upset and march on to the Super Bowl.
In the AFC, New England; Indianapolis; San Diego; Pittsburgh; Jacksonville; and the New York Jets (shocker!) will do the tango in the winter. New England is going to face San Diego in the AFC championship and once again spoil the Chargers' good time.
The Super Bowl is going to see Brady and Co. avenge last year's blot on perfection. They beat Minnesota 31-14.
