Change we can believe in...

You can blame Bill Maher for this one. I awoke from a peaceful sunday afternoon nap yesterday to find his screeching blaring from my tv. As usual he was moaning and groaning about why conservatives were criticizing Obama and his many escapades overseas. Well the reasons are numerous...
1. He gave the Queen of England an iPod. Again...he gave the wealthiest woman on the planet a $150 toy (which she already had) loaded with his speeches. Why not just give her a Hannah Montana CD. There was no word on whether or not his teleprompter autographed it for her.
2. He held a townhall meeting in France. How grand. The participants? All planted Americans.
3. He was supposed to repair America's image abroad and get everyone liking us again...because, obviously, Dubya ruined the great reputation that we had built over the last hundred years. With Prezbo in the White House, everyone was going to love us again and not hesitate to follow our lead in world affairs. Except, NATO nations aren't giving more troops to help in Afghanistan...but they LOVE the ideas that Obama are bringing to the table. Except, those ideas are just continuations of Bush's policies. (As a side note regarding Afghanistan, their Muslim governing body just legalized rape...apparently married women can't deny sex to their husbands, no matter if they want it or not. You see as long as modern Muslims allow this kind of barbaric activity to continue, terrorism has no hope of being vanquished from within.)
4. Yesterday in Italy an earthquake rocked the central region of the country, killing scores of people and doing billions of dollars worth of damage. Don't worry though, the Obama State Department is on the job. Our contribution to the people of Italy to help with rescue, recovery, and rebuilding? $50,000. Incidentally, Obama has promised the Hamas-run Palestinian government (you know...the same Hamas that uses women and children as human shields when Israel tries to engage them) $86.4 million. Go figure.
So, see? Despite the constant sunshine we're being force fed back home...some might consider the Messiah's trip abroad to be a little embarrasing. But what do I know? Teleprompters are people too.
